My wife and I just returned from 5 awesome days in Puerto Rico. We stayed in the Condado area of San Juan. We had a great time and I was able to get some transit pics as well as a few rides. AMA has Nova RTS, Nova LFS, New Flyer DE35LF, Orion V (35 footers) and Flxible Metro-E.

The buses look really shabby and beat up, but the A/C is really cold and those buses can really move. I suspect that they're not governed. I rode 1 RTS, several New Flyers and 1 Flxible. The RTS, Flxible and some of the Orions have the DD S50/Allison, but the rest sound like Cummins engines.

Enjoy...

Nice pictures. Their equipment actually looks pretty good. For the most part. I see some lapses, like the faulty signs, but other than that the good outweighs the bad.

Looks like there's no window at the rear of the LFS... Shocked Looks like the lights above the doors on the LFS have been taken off too. Confused

Yes, they're LFS do not have rear windows. A lot of the older buses were a bit shabby, but they were quite fast. I'd love to visit Puerto Rico again.
