I could cry when I saw this...

That's not just any RTS RV project, but one based on an ex-Santa Clara (would-be AC Transit) TH-8201. One of the first. Ever....
I'll give him props; it's clean and he's done a good job getting it back into shape. But a 6V92TA instead of the monster 8V71? Scrapping those plastic-backed seats?
I'm crying inside.
I want to try to save the T8H-203 owned by a local EMS company for just this reason. They've stripped theirs of most seating and fitted two RV-style roof AC units on both vents, but it's remarkably complete (even with original SEMTA destination curtains...) |

I decommissioned that bus. This is a bigger repair job then most people know. When the front door lift was installed, I hated that model lift, they moved the electrical panel from the drivers side and crammed it behind the driver seat to make room for the lift. Lots of pink jumper wires all butt spliced. What a nightmare to work on. Looks like he is using the driver's compartment from the donor bus.
