Last Monday an Operator assigned to Kingsbridge Depot was assaulted by someone selling illegal fares the operator told the female customer that the card had no money she than tried to get her money from the suspect he told her the B.O didn't know what the f**@ he was talking about and broke the operators jaw was told by another operator that he may lose vision in one eye

hopefully the woman learned a lesson to only buy MetroCards at authorized MetroCard vendors or TVMs

Sometimes I wonder if its worth challanging someone who is selling illegal fares. The risk of an altercation is just not worth it.
