This 1967 Ansair "SCENICRUISER" is clearly more Fishbowl than "SCENICRUISER"! Wink

This classic (and unusual!) coach easily could be one of the old tin lithos in my extensive collection...... Very Happy

This timeless "PIONEER"photo, for all the world, looks like it was snapped along the old DL&W/E-L Morris & Eseex line, somewhere near Orange, "Noo Joisey"! Wink

Man, those streamlined, smooth-contoured "Flexies" were GORGEOUS!!!!! Very Happy

Here's a great page with quite a few photos of a wide variety* of vintage Australian buses; quite a few would have been quite at home anywhere in London, or, for that matter, anywhere in Great Britain, back in the day.... Wink

Note the "Yank"-style standee windows on this vintage Sydney bus; this tough-looking bus sort of reminds you of a "down under" MACK........ Wink

Here's two vintage views of "BOND'S BUS SERVICE" (note the unusual "trailer bus" in the first photo: GREYHOUND used similar vehicles at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair)

In the second photo, the BONDS station would not have looked at all out-of-place serving GREYHOUND buses, way back in the day.......

Here's an EXCELLENT b/w 1930's photo collection showing the buses of the "HORNIBROOK BUS SERVICE"; note that some of the more modern buses seen here are somewhat reminiscent of prewar ACF's...... Wink

Seen here in use as a school bus, this sleek vintage Australian bus would have looked pretty much at home, here in the States, or, up in Canada, running in intercity service (with the exception, of course, of the left-hand door!) Wink

Note, also, the forward-slanting windows and the silversiding strip beneath them.......
