Some wonderful old Australian bus photos here; be sure to check out the vintage "HIGHWAY TRAVELER", complete with a "Running Dog" on its flanks.....

Here's a great page with quite a few photos of a wide variety* of vintage Australian buses; quite a few would have been quite at home anywhere in London, or, for that matter, anywhere in Great Britain, back in the day....

*The "GHAN" Hover-Bus, utilizing a retired Adelaide trolleybus body, is a right rum go, indeed!

Note the "Yank"-style standee windows on this vintage Sydney bus; this tough-looking bus sort of reminds you of a "down under" MACK........

Here's two vintage views of "BOND'S BUS SERVICE" (note the unusual "trailer bus" in the first photo: GREYHOUND used similar vehicles at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair)
In the second photo, the BONDS station would not have looked at all out-of-place serving GREYHOUND buses, way back in the day.......

Here's an EXCELLENT b/w 1930's photo collection showing the buses of the "HORNIBROOK BUS SERVICE"; note that some of the more modern buses seen here are somewhat reminiscent of prewar ACF's......

Seen here in use as a school bus, this sleek vintage Australian bus would have looked pretty much at home, here in the States, or, up in Canada, running in intercity service (with the exception, of course, of the left-hand door!)
Note, also, the forward-slanting windows and the silversiding strip beneath them.......
