Appreciate the info; thank you!
I had the feeling that METZ was a Pennsylvania company, but was not sure; now I know for certain!
The link you provided for the immigrant "caravan" buses is not "highlighted" that it can be clicked on......

Here's a handsome GREYHOUND 4103 looking quite imposing, with a fine backdrop of 4104's and Old Looks, on a long-ago day........

In this old view, we see a work-weary 4103, "somewhere south of the border", along with two happy-looking drivers......OLE!

I'll try it again...

BTW, in the future, if that happens, all you have to do is highlite the link, cut and then paste it into your search bar... |

Speaking of computer use...do you happen to know how to post your own photos's and files onto a post on this website?
I see some people know how to do it, but i am not computer savvy to do it, unless the website provides a means...other forums I am on do that...
I looked at the Bus Talk "galleries", and still couldn't figure out how to post photo's.
I do not use things like Instagram. I only directly post my photo's when the forum provides its own means... |

I have not the SLIGHTEST idea on how to post personal photos here; or anywhere else, for that matter; I'd sure like to see some of yours, and I'd love to post the bus pictures I took some 50-odd years ago, some taken at the "bus lot" in Hoboken!
To say I am tech and computer illiterate is like saying the Empire State Building has 102 stories!!
Oh, well.......

Regarding the photos whose links I posted earlier.....
Any idea where the MARTZ photo (with the "Buffalo") was snapped?
At first I thought MAYBE New York, but then, I was think more Wilkes-Barre.
Them the photo with the GREYHOUND 4103; could this bus been in commuter service by the time that photo was taken (note the Old Looks in the background)
As always, appreciate info......

That's a Martz terminal somewhere in PA...not sure if it's Wilkes-Barre, or maybe Scranton. Martz and Capitol had their own back then, as did EGL.
The old WGL buses were definitely in SFO commute territory--not sure which city in the photo... |

I see I was right in my hunch that the MARTZ station was somewhere in MARTZ territory (PA).
Years ago, on the old "Strayhound" site (man, I still mourn the demise of that awesome site!) there was a 1960's photo of San Francisco GREYHOUND commuter buses; I remember being amazed at the variety of buses being used.
There were a few Old Looks, a MACK, and a "Silversides"....talk about a museum fleet!
That MARTZ is still in business never ceases to amaze me; they'd been running buses for over 100 years now!
Though most of the time, Mom's family took the DL&W out of Hoboken out to PA to visit relatives in the Wilkes-Barre area, Mom remembers, several times, taking a MARTZ bus from Journal Square (pre-1935); she always liked sitting in the jump seat!
At that time, I know that MARTZ rostered several ACF's; this was way back when the company was still operating between New York and Chicago........
