Again I would like whatever help you can assist me with....
I need a list of pre 1947 Twin coaches that NYC used in the early days. Whether NYCTS, NYC Omnibus or any other agency name that was used, if you could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again. GARY

Best wishes on finding a list. I can pick up only bits and pieces of Surface Transportation before 1947. However, for starters, please scroll down on THIS PAGE to Mr. Linsky's post of March 20 2012. This is a GE advertisement for Twin Coach diesel-electrics numbered in the 900's.

Also, please see this list of Surface Transportation Twins submitted by X-Astorian to BusChat. Link HERE
It shows Twins purchased by Surface Transportation from 1940 to 1942, numbered from 786 to 999 with some numbers skipped.

North Shore Bus Co. of Queens and B.M.T.'s Brooklyn Bus Corp. were the only other NYC private operators other than Surface Transportation that had Twins. NYC Board of Transportation also bought pre-1947 Twins. Motor Coach Age Queens and Brooklyn issues have complete roosters.
