See, I listen to you sometimes . After six years, we finally have an attachment feature!
As you'll see the next time you post a message, simply click the "Browse..." button under "Add an Attachment" and pick a file from your computer. The maximum file size is 256 kb. I don't think there's a set maximum for height and width, but please be considerate and don't post photos that won't fit in a browser window.
Note that this is on an experimental basis and could disappear if it impacts performance or storage limitations. Also, remember the Forum and Gallery are still separate entities, so attaching an image to a forum post will not make it appear in the gallery.

maybe we should get reminders of the size we need to make our pictures so we don't make it hard for others to see. I know that on a slow computer you really have to wait a long time for those pictures to load if they are huge. |

I just learned from a train hobby forum that it takes a lot of space or capacity within a web site to allow huge pictures on a post. And that costs more money I guess. |
