As posted in the hobbyist section of the board I went up to Shoreline Museum yesterday. Around 7:30 AM, I was w/b on the Long Island Expressway in Jericho, when I saw a NYC RTS being towed e/b. Couldn't see a number, but the bus was hooked from the back, not the front.

Probably going to Atlantic Detroit Diesel in Bohemia, since Gershow Recycling in Medford isn't used for scrapping.

Most likely heading for scrap. You just reminded me, I saw another, yesterday afternoon as well. Was an RTS with a whiteback also being towed from the back. Being I was heading west, I couldn't catch a number but may have been an 8900 series.
