*(In both photos, note Fishbowl underneath the approach ramps with an open engine hatch)

Sobering to realize that none of these classic buses
exists today........ Sad

...............I am also curious as to where, these days, the few non-NJT companies keep their coaches, in-between runs, rear the PABT (LAKELAND, ROCKLAND COACHES, COACH USA, SHORT LINE)..........

W.B.:

Thanks for the info.

I am assuming, then, that buses are no longer stored under the PABT's approach ramps, as they had been for decades..........

There's now construction equipment along some of those ramps.

NJT riders just got hit with ANOTHER fare hike; 3% hikes are in store each year now for NJT riders.

No way could I afford to work in the city these days, that's for dang sure! Sad

Eyewitness News stock at 12 footage has an NJT MCIc oming off PABT rtam pon an outbound run, with a number of MCIs parked adjacent tf th ramp.............

3% raise is not really out of line with current Cost of Living inflation. Besides that, if you were still working, I'm pretty sure your wages would be substantially higher than when you retired, wouldn't it?

traildriver:

When I started working down on "The Street"in 1979, the TNJ "21" to the Hoboken Terminal set me back 45 cents, while the "Tubes" cost but 30 cents! Shocked Shocked

Yeah, and I was a LOT younger, back then....... Wink
