This deserves its own thread. Please post sightings and pics here.
From the earlier thread, 8476 8484 8500 8506 8510 & 8511 are the buses at BPK.

Two were sent to ADDA in Long Island for DYNO testing. The others are being prepped for service as we speak but I don't expect any to be in service for at least another week. Two need bulkhead work along with other repairs before they will be put into service. |

How would you guys like to laugh at this one.........Rumor had it that 8496 from MHV is being GUTTED and STRIPPED with 8005 8006 8045 8213 and about 2 others.guess what I had to tell the person that told me this to NEVER talk to me again because that info is ALL B.S. 8006 was on the READY line yesterday afternoon. BTW 8496 most likely is next to go to MTA Bus Baisley Park Depot. Sorry for the rant. |

All have had heavey suspension overhauls along with being sent to Detroit Diesel for DYNO testing. The buses are waiting to be cleared to be sent to JFK. |

The bus is put on a machine that brings the engine up to certain speeds (same as actually driving the bus) so that different components of the engine can be tested to make sure everything is working properly. |

There are still a few 1990 Repowers that are being prepped for service that are holding up the 84/8500s. |

In NJ, the State DMV Inspection Stations also use dynos on passenger cars/light trucks during emission checks. |
