Like roller curtains, KODAK was ontce an integral part of our everyday likes.........today, it's just bther chaper in the history books. Sad

Curious.....

Any idea who MIGHT have supplied the roller curtains for the train indicator boards at GCT?

I can remember these being used into the 1980s.....

I'd have to see old pictures to find out . . . one of the pictures you put up was obviously a re-creation.

I am sure there are a number of historic photos depicting the GCT indicator boards online; I have several books on GCT and the NYC and there are photos that clearly show the details (they were the standard white on black) the Hutchinson indicators at the CNJ's Jersey City terminal also used roller curtains......

Note the photo of the modern repro sign for the "BLUE COMET" at the historic CNJ station at Liberty Par; the RDG used Olde English lettering (black on white) for its crack "CRUSADER"

"standard" CNJ roller curtains were white on vlack.................
