| Makes one wonder if, but for the 1960 elimination of trolleybuses, the "Tee-Yay" would have had some of their Brooklyn Fishbowls so fitted for "soivice" on such lines. |

W.B.:
Very good point!
I'm also thinking of the massive cuts (also abandonments) to commuter rail service jere in New Jersey during the mid-late 1960s.
Picturing now PSNJ (as well as the other "indy" companies then in operation) equipping some of their Fishbowls with "hi-rail" equipment, allowing them to provide railbus service on multiple lines which now longer had any commuter services......

This rare 1937 YELLOW operated for the "CONNECTICUT COMPANY" until the early 1950s; this rare relic now resides at the IRM........

Back in the summer of '81 (if memory serves me correctly), I was up at Branford (Shore Line) one summer Saturday where I snapped several historic CCo. buses that had been on display.
I recall,a square-window Old Look, a paired-window version, and a Fishbowl; all seemed to be well-cared for, and running under their own power......
