Mabstoa 15:

VERY NICE, INDEED, MY FRIEND!! (as always!) Wink

How well I recall the Old Looks (and the ACF-BRILL C-44s) on the long-defunct #22, when Mom and I would ride out (60-odd years ago!) to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins who then lived in West Orange (we got off in Verona, on Bloomfield Avenue)

In that Old Look photo*, notice the classic PSNJ "BUS STATION" sign! (I grew up with these signs, and have two in my collection!) Very Happy

Again, THANK YOU for sharing these nostalgic photos of REAL buses!! Very Happy

*Also, in the Old Look photo, note the PS trolley wires overhead; these wires were most likely for the "#29" subway-surface car line, via the City Subway, which was converted to buses in 1952)

"NYO"

["22 JERSEY CITY-CALDWELL"]
