This material is taken from the MTA website:

The MTA will hold public hearings on a variety of fare increases and service reductions. Included are a proposal to eliminate the following LI Bus routes:
N51 -- Roosevelt Field to Merrick Station, a north-south route.
N53 -- Merrick Station Feeder looping North Merrick, 7 trips each rush hour, a route established a few years ago at the behest of the Permanent Citizens' Advisory Committee.
N65 -- School service between East Rockaway and Kellenberg Memorial HS, Uniondale.
N66 -- School service between East Rockaway and Chaminade HS, Mineola.
N67 -- School service between Roosevelt and two schools: Kellenberg, Uniondale, and Holy Trinity HS, Hicksville.
I would not be surprised to learn that the three above trips date from the early 1960's. Some school districts, told by the state to provide bus service to non-public high schools, chose not to send their own yellow buses but rather issued tickets (or some other instrument) for trips on common carriers. For several legal reasons, just a few years ago LI Bus added these as public services, with bus stops marked and schedules issued.
N80 -- Broadway Mall, Hicksville, south to Merrick Road, Massapequa Park, then north to Sunrise Mall, Massapequa. This route is a variant of N81. The elimination of N80 halves the service.
N87 -- Hicksville to Jones Beach during the summer.
N93 -- Roosevelt Field to Miller Field (now only three trips daily).
