FANTASTIC PHOTOS---------THANK YOU for posting here!  So----I do see that at least ONE ex-"Tee-Yay" Old Look was once part of the FDNY fleet (interestingly CORGI offered a TEXACO "fire bus"----an Old Look-----years back--I purchased one!); the RTS "Torpedo" was really cool; too bad not one of these unique buses is not with us today; they'd sure garner a LOT of attention when being exhibited! "NYO" |

| Fishbowl rear windows-------- Your's Truly has a 1970's book on New Orlean's St Charles streetcar line in his transit library; one photo shows buses operating on what had been (and again is today) the streetcar ROW in the center of Canal Street----a "Dangerfield" is heading towards the photographer-two Fishbowls (one with batwings)-are heading in the opposite direction; both buses with three-piece rear windows-------------"NYO" |

Evidently, "N'awlins" bus operators were confident enough in the structure of those Fishbowls and "Dangerfields" to leave the rear windows at 3-piece. Or willing to absorb the cost of window replacements, whatever. |

Cleveland and "Shik-aga" ended up going 4-piece, for sure . . . even in some Canadian cities that were GM customers. Definitely, after 1965's orders for " 'stoa" "Bullets" (6401-6900) and "Tee-Yay" "Dangerfields" (5601-5790), "Noo Yawk." I saw a few later "Bison" in my passing by the PABT area with 4-piece rear windows. "El-Lay" had some that were 3-piece and some that were 4-piece, too. |

| WB: This discussion on Fishbowls with three and four piece rear windows transgresses into antique toy replicas; Your's Truly has dozens of old toy Fishbowls in his collection; there are both buses with three piece rear windows-and others with four; too-recall the original (1960s) "Dangerfields" and their large rear windows; how well I recall the late 1970's NJDOT "Dangerfields" which had narrow "gun slot" rear windows; you could see the outline of the original large windows clearly--------"NYO" |

| Here's an interesting thought-----GREYHOUND's iconic "SCENICRUISER" was produced for only two years (1954-1956); on the flip side-the PD-4104 was built between 1954 and 1960------the now-iconic Fishbowl-on the other hand-was built between 1959 and 1977 (Pontiac); Canadian production lasted a bit longer-------"Dangerfield"production ran between 1961 and the late 1970's---------"NYO" |

And "Gee-Em's" "Bison" (plural for "Buffalo") were produced between 1966 and 1980. |
