The new buses will arrive sometime in august sporting the blue stripe just in time for the new pick. Expect massive service adjustments to be made. The buses should be numbered in the 1700s.

Thanks for the update; are these Orion VII CNG's or HEV's?
Are they NG or old style VII's?

These are Orion VII CNG next-generation buses. The old version of the Orion VII is no longer being produced.

Thanks! I don't recall if I've ever seen a photo of an Orion VII CNG. Does the rooftop cylinder housing looks like the ones used on Orion V/Orion VII CNG's? I saw NYCT 3800 (Orion VII HEV NG) at the DOB Roadeo on 6/21. Personally, I didn't like the looks of the NG when I first saw on-line pix, but in real life it didn't look too bad.

My friend who drives a bus for LIB said that 193 is in the base shop getting work done on it. Also apparently there are new depot logos. There will be no large service changes, but there will be a few trips added and a simplication of the schedules (changing a :42 departure time to a :30 and :00 interval).
definitely expect to see the decel lights disappear off of buses sometime in the future.
