I agree...that is a very strange collaboration. Didn't New Flyer already have some US facilities that they could have used to keep all production "in-house"?
And why would a company that had experience repairing wrecks have the know-how to manufacture new coaches, almost from scratch?
Most manufacturer's that I am familiar with, build a new plant when they wish to ramp up production, not "farm it out" to someone else.... |
