Here's a fine (rear) view of a beautifully restored UNION PACIFIC PDA-4101; note, here, how the rear of this handsome coach features Old Look-style windows.......

One of the rarest of historic highway coaches today is this magnificently restored MICHAUD PD-3703.
The rounded, streamlined rear ends of these distinctive buses clearly echoed the FLXIBLE coaches of that era.
Unlike the FLXIBLE buses, there was no air scoop on the roof at the rear; also, note the distinctive rear drumhead.....

Looks a lot like the Trailways of New England 4103 that gave me my first intercity bus ride, at the tender age of 8, back in 1955, from the PABT to Worcester, MA….😎 |

LUCKY MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Growing up in 1960's "Noo Joisey", I recall often seeing 4103's operating in charter service; never got a chance to ride one of these classic coaches, but I sure do remember them!

I am QUITE sure you will really get into this page!
https://www.curbsideclassic.com/bus-stop-classic/bus-stop-classics-sultana-tm-40-sp-southern-sceniccruiser/
There are also photos of other classic highway coach photos on this page; there is also an early ad here for the "SULTANA" four-axle "SCENICRUISER", along with other photos (man, just imagine GREYHOUND rostering a fleet of these babies!!)
Take notice that the "SULTANA" first rolled off the assembly line in 1963, 11 years after the SCENICRUISERS debuted here in the States; these unique buses also used a number of GM parts, shipped from the US.......

I had totally forgotten this monolithic monster.....man, it's like "SUPER CHEIF" on rubber tires!!
Imagine NJT operating a fleet of these during rush hours?
Ditto, GREYHOUND!
Driving one of these hulking behemoths HAS to have the driver "on his toes" while behind the wheel!
All kidding aside, it would have to be most interesting, to say the least, to see this slithering serpent undergoing heavy repair......
