Fellows:

What buses are now the oldest in the MTA fleet?

What will eventually replace them?

With the pandemic slowly easing, I am curious as to what types of buses the MTA will be looking to purchase, in the near term.

Do you see the MTA eventually going all-electric?

What about PROTERRA buses?

Appreciate any input.....

......also, how many "pure diesel" buses now operate for the MTA?

What about "hybrids"?

........in this era, where we hear much of "electric buses", it is ironic, to think, that until 1960, "all electric" buses operated in Brooklyn; of course, these were trolley buses, and required overhead wires.

It will be interesting to see what an "all electric" fleet for the MTA will look like, in future years.....

Regarding the recent past/current MTA bus fleet; when was it decided that diesels would eventually be phased out?

Will PROTERRA find a sizeable face in the future MTA fleet?
