Fellows:
The past several months, it seems as though there have been ongoing issues with the bus galleries at "bus.nycsubway.org"; when you click on a link (in one of our ongoing threads here at BusTalk) you instead get a subway photo from "nycsubway.org", instead of a bus photo.
Hope someone rectifies this problem soon.......

They have been reorganized and rebranded.
For example . . . this picture of 8531 at Park Row and City Hall running on Route M101A on June 15, 1971 . . .
https://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?154118
. . . while on April 17 of that year, 8097 running on Route B17 was (supposedly) at Glenwood Road and Rockaway Parkway (with a 1959 vintage front rollsign cannibalized from the first 'Tee-Yay' New Look order):

The order of the pics, however, is a splitting headache. So trying to match a description to the new codes for the pics on existing threads and posts . . . |

W.B.:
Thanks much for this information; here is, yet again, a stellar example of the old adage: "If it AIN'T broke, DON'T fix it".
Why the old format/links could not be left "as is" is beyond me......
Indeed, this throws a HUGE monkey wrench in the works regarding these photos, especially to those browsing through our old discussions, clicking on BUS photo links, only to get photos that do not correspond to the descriptions given in a post.
Again, greatly appreciate the "heads up".........

.....it's obvious that someone "at the switch" had far too much free time on their hands.
This is exactly why I have not been able to post any photo links from this site in ages; again, why "well enough" wasn't simply left alone is beyond me........
