NEVER can get enough of vintage PS photos, especially "ESSEX" Division views!!!!!!!
The "IRVINGTON BUS TERMINAL" photo is so wonderfully dated; not just the buses, but, also, the little depot itself, the once-commonplace phone booths, and the 1950's/1960's-era street lighting.
Growing up in the 60's, and, also, growing up with PS, these pictures indeed "take me back" to much happier days!
Thanks for sharing......

I question the old license plate on P320. I thought that after 1956 NJ plates were the standard dimension of plates in the USA.

Joe:
It is interesting to look at old PS bus photos through the years; indeed, there were variations, including numbering/lettering.
This also makes me think of the ASV's; the ASV's had license plates, given their "dual power" (off-wire) capabilities, thus making them a "motor vehicle".
Look at most trolley bus photos and you'll see no plates at all on the vehicles......

Further:
In mid-1960, PSNJ purchased 130 TDH-5302 transit Fishbowls (these buses were the "P" series)........
