heres a breakdown from their site;
Fixed Route
BCTA uses the following vehicles in fixed route service within Beaver County, and to downtown Pittsburgh and the Airport Corridor:
§ Two (2) 2005 MCI D4500 coaches
§ Two (2) 2002 MCI D4500 coaches
§ Three (3) 2001 MCI D4500 coaches
§ Two (2) 2001 International Condor small transit buses
§ Six (6) 2000 International Condor small transit buses
§ Three (3) 2000 New Flyer SR604 low-floor transit buses
§ One (1) 2000 Chance American Heritage Streetcar
§ Four (4) 1998 Neoplan AN 340/3 coaches
§ Four (4) 1998 Neoplan AN 345/3 coaches
§ One (1) 1994 Chance RT-52 small transit bus
Our average fixed route vehicle is 6.1 years old. All vehicles include ample seating, air conditioning, and wheelchair lifts or ramps. BCTA is currently pursuing federal grant funding to support a fixed route fleet modernization program.
DART
BCTA uses the following vehicles in DART service within Beaver County, and to downtown Pittsburgh, Oakland, Sewickley, and the Airport Corridor:
§ Nine (9) 2003 Ford Phoenix buses
§ One (1) 2002 Ford Phoenix bus
§ Seven (7) 2001 Ford Phoenix buses
§ Five (5) 2000 Ford Phoenix buses
§ One (1) 1997 Ford Goshen bus
Our average DART vehicle is 4.6 years old – making BCTA’s DART fleet one of the youngest in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A high degree of fleet standardization helps the BCTA maintenance department develop a very high level of skill and keep vehicle maintenance costs low. |

Is there any reason why some of the PAT Gillig Advantages have bike racks, while others lack them? |

certain garages have a certain amound of Bike Racks laying around whatever buses they can get their hands on (for work and whatnot) will get a bike rack thrown on, 5220 is just one of those buses that hasn't been caught yet, our Newer Neoplan Artics just got them slapped on to those but not for the EBA, thats another story. |
