These vehicles are very tired. They have been the back bone of the
fleet for 15-16 years. Operating 7 days a week, many many hours.
9609, OFS 9631 scrapped at while ago.
9615, OFS
9639, OFS 9602, 9620, 9621 OFS
They have never been repainted.
Also 958 and 960 are still in Stamford. 960 & 9500s subbed for Metro
North Danbury Line recently.
Today i observed 1024 & 1027 on the D. Nice looking |

D40HF #950 is still active in New Haven. I spotted it in Waterbury yesterday on the J4 and was fortunate to have my camera with me. Here are a couple of pictures.

Yep, I see these buses frequently in New Haven (and ride on em once in a while). I assume that they'll be taken out of service immediately by xcelsiors? |
