Another city you would not expect to find an El was in Havana.

In the early 20th century, there was an El line that served Havana; the gate cars (a la BRT/CRT) were equipped with trolley poles.

"Tube stock" measurements.......

Between 1923 and 1983, car measurements (length) ran the gamut from 51 feet and 58 feet; between 1938 and 1972, all rolling stock was 52 feet in length.
