At least one TDH-5106 at Metropolitan Suburban Bus Authority was painted in two-tone blue with an orange stripe. I posted a picture in a previous posting.

I beg to differ. The gutted fishbowl looks more like an ACF-Brill IC-41 model.

My understanding was that the TA did not sell buses, except for scrapping, because it implied they still had useful life remaining.

Regarding Avenue B and East Broadway's fleet of Macks. As you can see by the attached roster Avenue B did indeed acquire second hand Macks from the TA. In fact, notice the number of second hand buses ...

Avenue B did not buy those "Shermans" from Chicago. They were leased from Hausman Bus Sales and they were ex-South Suburban Bus Lines from the Chicago area.
